Beyond its expertise in photovoltaic solutions, JR Énergie Conseil positions itself as a partner of choice for large-scale projects. Its turnkey approach, professionalism, qualifications, and high-quality, high-efficiency products allow it to work on a variety of ambitious projects. The company collaborates with major players such as the Intermarché group, SNCF, and Total, and carries out engineering work for energy sector giants like Cegelec (Vinci group), Engie, and SAEM (an Engie subsidiary).
From Edf Expertise To Solar Innovation
Based in Cournon d'Auvergne, JR Énergie Conseil is the result of an ambition driven by Jean Renard, its current President and former EDF engineer. “After 40 years in the energy sector, I wanted to put my knowledge to good use and create a company dedicated to energy supply consulting,” he explains. Since its creation in 2016, the company has grown rapidly, expanding from consulting to the installation of photovoltaic panels. Today, JR Énergie Conseil employs 40 people and plans to double its workforce within two years. “We are growing rapidly, but we are keen to maintain our trademark and expertise in order to satisfy our customers,” says Jean Renard.
Its approach is based on four core values: quality, safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. “We do not use any subcontractors. Our teams are trained, qualified, and committed to carrying out highly technical installations,” insists Jean Renard. With more than 1,000 photovoltaic power plants in service, including major projects such as the Cournon plant, which will soon be operational (see focus below), JR Énergie Conseil guarantees solutions tailored to every need, from small residential installations to large-scale industrial projects, as evidenced by its Qualifelec SV1, SV2, and SV3 certifications. “Our design office designs solar power plants ranging from a few kilowatts to several megawatts, integrated directly into the electricity grid.” This expertise is unique in the market!
With more than 1,000 power plants in operation, JR Énergie Conseil provides sustainable and high-performance solar installations.
Comprehensive support and innovative solutions
JR Énergie Conseil offers turnkey services, ranging from feasibility studies to commissioning of installations. “We take care of everything: administrative procedures, connection to Enedis, optimization of production, and even assistance with electricity resale contracts,” explains Jean Renard.
The company installs photovoltaic panels on various types of roofs and infrastructure. If necessary, these are brought up to standard by reinforcing the support structures.
Thanks to digital monitoring of its installations, JR Énergie Conseil provides optimal remote monitoring, which allows it to instantly detect any anomalies and guarantee on-site intervention when necessary.
At the same time, the company has expanded its offering by integrating a complementary asbestos removal activity with its company SAS JP2R. “This enables us to provide our customers with a complete solution, including thorough asbestos removal and the installation of a new roof before the solar panels are installed,” explains Jean Renard. This dual expertise avoids unnecessary delays, guarantees optimal service, and optimizes costs, with no interruption between phases of work.
The Cournon power plant, an exemplary project
JR Énergie Conseil has achieved a major milestone with the Cournon photovoltaic power plant near Clermont-Ferrand. Led by a design office created specifically for this purpose, this project showcases its expertise with 25,000 m² of solar panels in the first phase, quickly doubled to reach 4.5 MWp fed into the Enedis high-voltage grid. The energy produced will be offered directly to businesses located within a 2 km radius, in accordance with new regulations. The end customer will thus benefit from lower supply and tax costs, while sourcing energy locally and sustainably.
